Dr Arora’s 4 month placement at the surgery will be ending on the 6th December 2016. We wish her all the best for the future.
Dr Nancy Maningo, who was with us last year is returning for a 12 month placement and will start on the 7th December.
We welcome two new Practice Nurses—Ruby and Deepa.
We also welcome Paul Bryan who is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. He is able to assess patients with minor illnesses.
Patient Participation Group (PPG)
We are looking for new recruits for our Patient Participation Group. The group is made up of volunteer patients, the Practice Manager and one or more of the GPs from the practice.
They meet on a regular basis to discuss the services on offer and how improvements can be made for the benefit of patients and the practice.
In practice, PPGs can play a number of roles including:
Advising the practice on the patient perspective
Organising health promotion events
Carrying out research
If you would like to be part of this, please speak to a member of the reception team.
As well as booking appointments and ordering repeat prescriptions online, you will now also be able to view part of your electronic medical record.
Please see a receptionist who will print off your username and password. Please note, we will need to see some photo ID before this can be done and each patient will need to register individually for this service.
